My Favourite Healthy Snack - so tasty!

One of my favourite snacks is a 1oz serving of toasted almonds (toast flaked almonds in a dry moderately heated frying pan) with a half cup of blueberries - and a sprinkle of cinnamon if you wish! The combination of the crisp, savory warm toasted almond flakes with the cool, sweet tangy blueberries is so tasty!

Best of all, it is relatively low calories (around 120kcal) and bursting full of minerals and vitamins - cinnamon is great for controlling glucose while the blueberries and almonds are said to be great for weight loss.

Try it for yourself and let me know what you think - toasting the almond flakes makes it a much more tasty treat than plain old raw almonds!
