need more motivation

I'm in the Houston area looking for without buddies and tips on losing 20 pounds quick but safe without losing muscle mass.

    You have to eat at a deficit and its probably safer if you do it slowly so aim for 1 lbs a week so you don't lose much muscle mass and make sure your meeting macro goals.
  • Calorie deficit, that's the way. I can't find them easily on this mobile, but the articles I've read say you need to lift weights at a maintenance level to avoid muscle loss while you cut fat.
    So, don't lift to break down muscle tissue, like you would during the bulking stage, but lift at about 75% of your max.
