Was doing research on google scholar and found this study. I know its from the 60s but I thought id share for those of you looking into it.

Im doing a modified IF 500 Cal a day with a vitamin supplememt for 3 months with some exercise (mostly swimming) to jump start the process than going to a 1200 Cal a day with a 5:2 IF. Don't worry people I'm medically supervised have been doing this for 2 weeks and I'm doing great blood work wise. That being said DO NOT attempt a 500 Cal a day diet without medical supervision!!
Oh and my ticker is off it should say 5#s down and I'm actually 10 down from when I started.
