Measure/weigh your food. You are likely eating more than you think.

When I was nursing my first baby I got into the habit of drinking a LOT of water and have ever since. It seems that I was just always thirsty, but I do believe it helped me to drop the baby weight (my weight gain came after my children were much older). I was even told that I could drop down to skim milk (when I was pregnant I was advised to drink 2%). Once your baby starts crawling around you will also drop weight- I know I did because they are always into stuff and keeping you hopping!
