Who doesn't think you are eating enough

Quick is not necessarily sensible or safe .. and can end with a worse result as you whip through your LBM and you're left having to rebuild your muscle

So if you want help or actual specific advice

Post your height, weight, goal weight loss per week, eventual goal weight and activity level (excluding exercise)

    And open your food diary

And how are you measuring your cardio?

and are you eating back those calories?

You know MFP is NEAT don't you?

NEAT (Non Exercise Activity Thermogenisis) which, basically, is the calories you need before purposeful exercise to lose weight. That is why choosing your activity level is important when setting up your account. You need to eat back some of your exercise calories for MFP to believe you are eating enough to be healthy.

    Did I get that right?

    NOPE

Activity level is without purposeful exercise - if you're desk job you're sedentary

Just log your exercise, with care .. if you're using the MFP database, double click on the calories and halve them

    Then eat that

    it works

Alternatively work out your TDEE (which includes exercise) on one of the calculators - scoobyworkshop has a decent one - take a cut from it (500 calories for 1lb a week loss) and overwrite your goal targets in the manual settings - if you choose this approach you do not log any exercise

the numbers should work out the same - but it's what happens in your body over time (6-8weeks) you need to look at .. and then adjust how much eat accordingly

lose too quickly and you'll lose more LBM than you need to - with only 11lbs to go you should be on 0.5-1lb roughly per week
