Hi all,
I am finding myself getting very frustrated. After 90+ days of logging
Working on exercising. I lost 11 lbs than gained back 2 lbs.
I feel I should be making better progress.
I tried cutting my calorie intake down.
Do to a medical reasons I had to put it back up to 1350. Plus add some fat back into my diet.
I am scared of gaining more weight back and of giving up.
Any succession would be greatly appreciated!

I find cutting carbs works much better than fat. I lost two stone doing that. I eat loads of fat.

    You can absolutely do this.

What kind of food are you eating? I've found that, for me, starting my day off with a shake keeps me full till lunch and helps me keep my calories down. Plus cooking/prepping lunches for the week.

I know 11lbs seems like it might be slow but you got down 11lbs! Those 2lbs are going to come off again and you're going to keep losing. What kind of exercise are you doing? I've found that if I can do a little lifting before my cardio I burn more and am starting to feel stronger--even if the pounds aren't coming off as quickly as I want or I have days where I add a pound or two back, I can still hold onto the fact that my workouts are getting easier and that I feel better there.

Please don't give up--you can do this!

I understand your frustration, but we don't gain weight overnight and it won't come over overnight unless you're doing some unhealthy things...keep going a day at a time you'll see and feel the results you want!! You can do it!

I too am feeling the same way! I haven't lost anything :( I workout 4x a week and log my calories, only difference is I've been feeling stronger as each week goes by, but why haven't I felt any difference in my clothes or seen a shift in my weight? :( so frustrating.

Since I can't see your diary, I can only give you the following advice:
    • Make sure you're logging everything you eat.
    • Make sure you're weighing out all of your food, this really feeds into the point above, but it's crucial.
    • If you're logging your exercise try not eating back more than half of the calories.

You're still lower than when you started, so be happy with what you've accomplished.

I eat tons of carbs, and had no problem losing weight at all.

Op , first of all yes this process is very frustrating. We've all been there.
Secondly, weight fluctuations are normal!! My scale jumps up by 8 lbs sometimes. It's normal. Water weight, female cycles , salt intake and so on.So don't stress about the fluctuation.
Be sure that you are 100% weighing everything you consume with a food scale. Don't eye ball anything. It's very important.
