Hi all!
Anybody who is knowledgeable about this stuff and has a few moments to spare-- Could you take a look at what I ate today (5/11/2015) and perhaps offer suggestions for how I could have worked more protein into my day without having increased calories, carbs, or fat too much? Feel free to look at my diary from today, but here's a summary of what I ate:
Breakfast:
Sliced tomatoes (I know I needed to eat more at breakfast-- I'm thinking hardboiled eggs or mini veggie frittatas)
Afternoon:
Salad with romaine lettuce, red bell pepper, cucumbers, 1 tbsp ranch dressing, and 1.6 oz of grilled steak
Strawberries & blueberries
Baby carrots and hummus
1 cup of Skinny Pop popcorn
1 tbsp of natural PB
Evening:
Jennie-O turkey burger with a slice of colby-jack cheese and 1/4 avocado
Strawberries, blueberries, and grapes
And FWIW, I have PCOS and am trying to eat accordingly, meaning foods with low glycemic index. I switched around my goals for carbs, fats, and calories based on info I've ready about healthy eating for women with PCOS.
Thanks for any suggestions or recipes!

It is perfectly fine to skip breakfast. Some people only eat two meals a day.
Some suggestions: Double the steak or have and a second turkey burger.
Skip the ranch dressing or hummus as hummus has little protein. Or skip some of the grapes/tomatoes.
Eat more romaine as it has protein and low calories.
