Always go over my "sugar" grams

I'm always going over the amount of grams of sugar that this says I should have at the end of the day! I haven't been eating any sweets or candy or anything, it's just from yogurt and fresh fruit but will this affect my weight loss goal if I keep going over the amount?

Hasn't stopped me from losing. Most of my sugar comes from dairy and fruit. I track fiber instead as that's a nutrient I'm actually concerned about.

The MFP recommendation is, for some reason, set to the general recommendation for *added* sugars.

Are you diabetic, prediabetic, or hypoglycemic? Have you been otherwise instructed by your doctor that you need to monitor sugar specifically? If not, ignore it; sugar's just a carb.
