Snacking

How viable is it to snack on strawberries or spinach leaves if you don't have many calories left of your daily allowance but you're hungry and don't want to go over? Is it something worth doing? Will it fill me up at all?

I do strawberries as an end of day snack - or other berries/grapes. But I'm usually not realllllly hungry. If I'm really hungry I will have something more substantial.

If you like it, and it fits your calorie and macro goals, I don't see a problem with it.

Spinach leaves wouldn't satisfy me. However, I love snacking on raspberries with a tiny bit of greek yoghurt. Both fiber, protein and satisfy my sweet tooth. I also like eating one boiled egg (white). You could also snack on (half) an apple with some peanut butter. You could also do a 0% drink yoghurt, usually fills me up as well. Half a banana... Cherry tomatoes! I would stick with fruit/vegs mainly. Oh, sometimes I go for a piece of toast with some low-fat butter as well.

Yes, those are good. Spinach is high nutrient low cal. Strawberries are only 50 calories to the cup approx.

    I'm suspicious...

Is there supposed to be something bad about that?

Strawberries would fill me up dipped in some yogurt or just plain. A carrot will do it also. Nay to spinach leaves. Those would not work for me.
