What are good sources of protein and foods that keep you feeling full?

I am gonna say not all nuts are "good" sources...I asked once what makes it a good source and the resounding answer was this...
1 gram of protein for every 10 calories...
For example my greek yogurt has 100 calories...8 grams of protein...it's not bad but not great...
Nuts tho..hmmm
almonds for 1 oz 163 calories...6grams of protein...for a good source it should be 16grams of protein.0 -

I'll agree they aren't a fantastic source of protein but will do in a pinch.
Peanuts are 160 calories and 7G protein
Cashews are 150 calories for 5G protein
I've never really been a big almond fan
I like the Danon Lite and fit greek yogurt. It's 80 calories but 12G of protein.

I like that yogurt too and whenever I get to the states it is bought...I live fairly close but haven't been over in a while.0 -

meat, poultry, and fish are your top shelf choices. Eggs and Greek yogurt are second tier. Nuts and nut butters do have protein, but are mostly good fat sources. Legumes and lentils are a good veg source of protein, but they don't make a complete amino chain so you should have them with something that does...I eat them often, but more as a good complex carb source that happens to have a decent amount of protein.
You could also supplement with a protein powder though I'd say they aren't very satiating.0
