So I have the Pacer app on my phone, it counts steps and gives some cals, however when I exercise I use my hrm, but since the app syncs with MFP I deduct what my Polar gives me when I walk, is this right? I was thinking about getting a Fitbit but how do you use if u use a hrm??? How do you give yourself credit for your workout? Do I make any sense?

Your Fitbit burn is TDEE (aka your maintenance calories). When you connect a Fitbit to your account, MFP adjusts your calorie goal every day to TDEE minus deficit.
You can learn more in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users
I don't have a heart rate monitor, but if yours syncs with Fitbit, I would connect the HRM to Fitbit, then Fitbit to MFP.0 -
Thanks it explains it all0
