I love to eat pasta for lunch but most of the recipes are packed with calories. Anyone want to share their healthy and easy pasta recipes?

I have a couple of pasta recipes for you!

Basil pesto pasta salad (my brother in laws own recipe)
    Serves 4

250g durum wheat pasta (or whatever pasta, but this is what I use)
    2 - 3 tablespoons of basil pesto
    1 small tin of corn
    100g spinach
    60g low fat feta
    1/2 red onion
    1 tomato

Cook pasta, mix ingredients. Pretty basic.
240 cals per serve, 29 carb, 10 fat, 9 protein

Also a really easy pasta recipe I want to try but not sure of the calorie content

    250g pasta of choice
1 tin of pasta sauce of choice
    Pinch chilli flakes
    1 tin of cannellini beans
    Parmesan to serve

While the pasta is cooking, heat the sauce with chilli flakes and cannellini beans. Mix both and serve with parmesan.

I made a sauce the other day for pasta using extra low fat ricotta as cream and etc..the whole tub was 120 cals or something ridiculous!

I am gluten intolerant so I usually go with brown rice noodles but seen some Quinoa noodles and decided to give it a try... they tasted pretty good, they may not be that lower in calories but the calories they are giving you have better stuff in them. Quinoa is the only grain that is a complete protein...(contains all 9 amino acids our bodies need)

    good luck

    Carbonara.

It's packed with calories, but so what? Just eat less of it! I make mine with 8 egg yolks and one whole egg, which leaves 8 egg whites, so I can go low cal high protein on the next meal.

I just had an awesome pasta lunch and if my calculations are right, it was only 192 cals. For one serving, use:

    60g Penne Pasta
    30g Extra Light Philadelphia
    2 slices ham, chopped
    Pepper

Cook the pasta, then drain it. Stir through the philly and add a generous amount of pepper. Stir through the chopped ham and then enjoy! Really filling and so simple, i just used what i had lying around.

    Hope this helps!
