I’m not even sure whether I’ve seen it. The hair is vaguely similar. Or I thought it was until I looked up the movie. Basically, I have no reason at all.

Amelie is childish and ridiculous, shes so needy and whiny in the movie in my opinion, but then again my french isnt that great so i could be mistaken

OK, I have determined that I’ve seen part of Amélie. I stopped watching it halfway through. And I keep mixing it up with Delicatessen, which I also hated. But lest anyone think that I hate all French films, La Jetée is fantastic.
