Ok so... This is where I work out! I go running here every day. It's so beautiful with all the birds singing in the trees in the morning.
Upload a photo of your work out base and tell me why you enjoy working out there!!
Let's brighten up the midweek mood!

No exciting picture here.... Just a gym (that has a great supportive atmosphere) , or on the spin bike at home if I have to do cardio.0

I have a gorgeous red crested woodpecker that I encounter on my runs but he never sits still long enough for a picture.MissusSpags wrote: »The state forest trails in our town...so peaceful. And buggy. But it's peaceful..lol.

I hope you DO find some gorgeous place that gives you immediate payback for just being there, but until you do, KUDOS to you for working out anyway!

@Lizzy622 We have rail trails around us too but they are usually too crowded for me.0

A lot of you guys are so lucky! I wish I had a lovely scenic place to walk (and eventually jog) through! The closest area I have in comparison is 4.1 miles away--which is definitely not worth the effort! Maybe if I had a bike, but alas, I do not.
This is where I walk. Not very beautiful, I know, but it's a decent 0.9 mi walk away from my house which is certainly convenient. The surrounding area is decent as far as appearances go, though I prefer using the track (rubber, .25 mi) as it's better to monitor distance and speed there.
And in the summer I have this to look forward to (different section of the same park), so there's that:

I do my Oly lifting and other weight lifting in the gym...
Hiking in the mountains (this is at Bandelier National Monument just a hop skip and a jump from my back yard)
Cycling along the Albuquerque Bosque (Rio Grande River)
Riding the desert trails in the West Mesa
Winery hopping on bikes through Corrales
And heading out to the BMX track with my eldest boy...

I live 5 minutes from this lovely beach and am going to start running on here and we also have an amazing coastline where our 5km park run travels along. So fortunate to live near an amazing beach here in South Shields (just outside Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England)
