Where do the values come from? How do you know if they are accurate?

They are all input by MFP users. You don't know they are accurate unless you confirm it for yourself.

you don't, which is why it is best to check first and then stick with that one correct entry.

MFP Premium I believe has validation now. You could spend the $$ to have it. However, simple verification over the Net is sufficient (as an example).

Never trust the values put into MFP, some users are WAY wrong when they enter the info. If you know it looks way off base you can use a site like http://nutritiondata.self.com/ to confirm the proper values. Then edit the MFP database entry so other users do not use the flawed entry.
