6 months on my journey...

Hello-

I have never posted before but have been a myfitnesspal daily user for over 130 days and have lost 70 pounds. I have been eating well and exercising daily at the workout room at my employer on my lunch hour. I have been walking and have graduated to jogging and doing some power walking with incline to keep my heart rate up. I will also row and do weights every other day.

I need to mix it up a little and try some new things but I am really nervous about group classes. People have mentioned spin classes and for some reason my mind keeps telling me that there is no way I could do that (my body is in the best shape it's been in the last 10 years but my mind haven't caught up yet!)

Any suggestions on classes to start off with to gain confidence? I would hate to feel like I can't keep up and get discouraged.

Thanks so much for taking the one to read my post!

The greatest part about spin is your ability to control your intensity. You set your own resistance, and typically no-one can see what your resistance levels or RPMs look like. For instance "climbing a hill" may look like a level 9 for a beginner and level 20 for an expert. Personally, I really enjoy it and think beginners will definitely fit in too.
