Don't starve yourself! That's pointless. Just keep track of your calories & eat better at work. Make time to pack a lunch or snacks for yourself, or learn to eat healthier things they offer at work. If you work the night shift, you are going to have to shift your eating schedule to be more normal. If you work 11pm-7am, your breakfast might be 10pm & your lunch might be 3am. You still have to eat, don't skip it altogether.

I work a 2 week rotation between midnights, afternoons and days. I have good results periodic fasting on midnights. I eat supper with my family and then a snack before 9 pm and don't eat all night long and finish with a huge breakfast. Keeps my habits the same for all three shifts.

I work 12 hour night shifts and I eat all night, I track my food from midnight to midnight. On the days I have to work, I eat a lot of veggies and low calorie foods that fill me up, I've never been a morning eater and I used to force myself to eat breakfast but now I eat when I'm hungry, even if it isn't until noon. ;)

I work 12 hour night shifts from 7 to 7. On my work days I eat breakfast in the evening, lunch at around midnight and dinner around 4 am. On my days off, I eat at normal times. I lost over 100 pounds doing it this way. It doesnt matter what time of day you eat, as long as you are keeping track of your calories. For example, if you are eating at 1600 caloes a day, it's 1600 calories any time during a 24 hour period.
