Hi to everyone whos in the same boat as me and trying desperately to lose weight,my reason is I need a knee operation but they say im to big at the moment so trying like mad to lose it,anyone got any bright ideas,recipes any thing they can share with me im id be very grateful,i cant do exercise so im a pain

Hello and welcome! I'm sorry about your knee. As for exercise, diet will go a lot more to losing weight than exercise, but if you are able to be active, give it a try, even if it is just using your upper body.
My bright idea for losing weight is to start by keeping track of everything you eat each day in your food diary. Once you know where you are, you can start making changes. Cut back on calories and aim for slow, steady weight loss. If you've been eating a lot of junk, try adding some vegetables in. If you like to cook, take some of your favorite recipes and revamp them to be healthier. Best wishes.0
