Thanks for all the comments. I learned a few more ideas for getting in more fiber. I did a search for the Fiber Gourmet pasta and found that I can get it where I live locally and did find some and have tried it out...which was good. I pretty much had stayed away from pasta due to its high calorie content and lower fiber count, but now I can enjoy it and high fiber at the same time. Mac and cheese is in my future! :)

I normally do get 40 grams of fiber daily for the most part, sometimes more or less. It's interesting to see how everyone gets theirs. One thing I already did even before I started eating lots more fiber was to add Fiber One to my oatmeal in the wintertime. I would have a serving of oatmeal and add 1/4 cup (7 gr of fiber) to my oatmeal to increase it. Since I'm trying to incorporate more fiber now, I will eat oatmeal or cereal, Fiber One, and add a whole cup of fruit like Mixed Berries (7-9 grams) and my count will end up being anywhere from 13 to 20 just for breakfast. I also will add a half cup of beans quite often to a meal to spike up the count. I just love black beans!

I found adding a lentil dish daily made a big difference. I also recommend chia, flaxseed, etc.
