I'm not sure what sort of help you're looking for. Are you asking for meal planning advice? Are you looking for motivation to eat more vegetables?
It sounds like you know what you should be doing, you just need help actually doing it, am I reading you right?
First of all, you should know that purely for weight loss, there's not much difference if you eat McDonald's and pizza or if you eat veggies all day, as long as you stick to your calorie goal you will lose weight. But in terms of your health and nutritional needs and overall well-being, of course there's a difference. It's fine to eat McDonald's and pizza sometimes, but you really should mix it up with some stuff that's a bit more nutritionally sound, too. Also, you'll feel fuller on the same number of calories.
Try meal planning a week at a time on the weekends, and grocery shopping and cooking some meals ahead of time. That helps me stick to my plan when I know I have a delicious meal already home cooked in the fridge, I'm less tempted to stop for fast food.0 -
Make small changes. Don't go ALL OUT! If you open your diary I could maybe help give some veggie suggestions.
Steamables really helped me get vegetables in me and my family. We now have broccoli with baked potatoes, baby peas with fish, and baby carrots just about every day.
You won't find a leaf of spinach or any squash in my house though, I don't like them. We occasionally have zuchini when I think to buy it.
You're not failing, you don't have to do it perfectly. Eating the right calories for now is good! You'll want to add veggies to add volume to those calories.0 -
Maybe trade SubWay for McDonald's? Maybe choose the healthier stuff on the McDonald's menu?0

I used to hate veggies! I just made minor changes to my meals at home. Eating out less and cooking at home more really helped me to increase my veggie intake. Adding roasted asparagus, broccoli, or cauliflower to the menu with some spicy seasonings. Eating salads with spinach and a myriad of veggies for lunch with some fruit, and a lean meat. I like Clean Eating magazine and skinnytaste.com for healthier, lower calorie, food options that are tasty. I would try a new recipe one or twice a week and then ditch the ones I didn't like and keep the ones I did like and rotate between them. I try to add a few new recipes to that every month.0

First, there is no "wrong" food. Eat at a deficit for weight loss. For nutritional purposes, start incorporating fruits and veggies that you like. Baby steps.0

Thank you everyone. I wasn't sure what I was looking for. You all helped. I don't eat crap all the time and when I do make meals at home its a starch, meat, and veggie. I usually skip breakfast (witch i have to change too) and eat something for lunch even it's popcorn with Buffalo sause0
