Lifting and Boxing with Wrist Pain?

I work your average American boring desk job, 10 hours a day, 4 days a week. When I was younger I spent a majority of my time on the computer. So it's no big surprise that I'm suffering from the onset of carpal tunnel. My wrists are pretty perpetually "sore", cracking and aching after a long day at work. But the past few days I've noticed a new (somewhat worrying) sensation. In the "meat" of my palm, so to speak, I get this awful pain whenever pressure is applied (read as: turning on the faucet, unscrewing a lid) it will sometimes (but not always) extend to the back of my forearm...
I love lifting, and I love kickboxing, and I have been doing both for a hot minute now. I wear gloves when I weight lift, but honestly I haven't wrapped my wrists during either exercise (which is very likely why I am where I am now). To my knowledge I haven't done anything that would have directly damaged my wrist/hand (like punching the bag wrong) but I'm not sure if it's overuse, or something more severe?
I went on a bike ride yesterday, hoping to take it easy, but my hand/wrist was killing me by the end of it. We tried to ice it for about half an hour, and then wrapped it overnight to avoid too much bending (I sleep with my hand under the pillow a lot). This morning it's still hurting just as bad. I'm wearing my wrist brace today at work, which has a metal bar so I can't bend my wrist at all.
Problem is... I'm doing Wendler's. And today is overhead press. While I really don't want to skip my workout, I also don't want to mess myself up more than I already have. Has anyone experienced this in the past? Any advice on a speedy recovery? And what exercise(s) would be a safe subsitute until I'm feeling better?
Thanks in advance!

Go see a doctor.
In the meantime, don't do anything to aggravate it; like lifting heavy objects.
If you don't have a full injury now, you easily could in a few days if you keep pushing it.0 -
That's my concern... I'd really like to avoid going to the doctor if it's going to be a "ice it and ibuprofen" bill, like any other time I've gone for some sort of physically strenuous activity-induced pain... Trying to find some remedies to try (aside from the obvious- don't use it) before caving and going to the doctor. Mostly I want to know what to do to keep myself from going crazy. I don't want to work legs every day, but I'm not sure what a good upper body workout (that doesn't involve using my wrists/hands) would be...0

R.I.C.E. and ibuprofen.
And use wraps before you glove up for your next bag session.0 -

I'd rather pay a doctor to find that out than have an injury I don't address; based on your symptoms it could be anything as simple as a pulled or strained muscle/ligament/tendon, a pinched nerve, or a small fracture in one of the bones in your hand (which is what took me out of kickboxing entirely four years ago). All of which, over time, are things that are helpful to have actual medical treatment for.
If the doctor says RICE, just be thankful it's nothing more serious.0
