I think possibly i have the wrong end of the stick here. I keep my diary up to date, but only when I enter the cardio activities does it convert it inot a calorie count or a benefit so to speak. Put in my weight stuff (when I can find it) and it does nothing. It's as though doing weights is no benefit in terms of calories etc. SO if i Ihave it wrong can someone take a few moments to explain it to me.
Many Thanks

MFP does a lousy job of calculating weight work. You actually need to enter it in the cario section for it to calculate. There is an option for weights in the cardio section and it will do a rough calculation.
Weight work calorie burn varies so much from person to person it's hard to calculate. I find Fitday does a much better job for figuring out your calories lost from lifting.0
