Does anyone have any idea of how long protein powder lasts once open?
I have a huge thing of protein powder that has been opened for more than a year, do you think it is still safe to use?

Check the texture... you can tell when it's gone off trust me, if it's gone clumpy don't try to drink it.
Acidentally lost the end of a tub in back of cupboard and found when I moved house. Thought I'd try to cook with it anyway. Bad idea, very very bad idea.0 -
Good rule of thumb is if it doesn't go bad it's not good for you.0

Yes, it DOES "go bad". They always have expiration dates on the container, but I would say as a general rule of thumb anything that's been open for over a year is probably not a great thing to put into your body.0
