Going on vacation should I get a 7 guest pass?

I am going to be traveling out of state for a little over a week visiting family and granted it's "only" a week but I've worked so hard to get to the point I'm at and don't want to break my routine gym cardio workouts. I've used a 7 day guest pass to see if a gym would be a good fit (I intended to join) before however I don't know if maybe I could get a 7 day guest pass even though I have no intent to join the gym. I've located a few gyms near the area I will be staying but have NO idea if I should disclose that I have no plans to actually join. If it doesn't work there is good old fashion walking/running, but I'd rather avoid getting a sunburn. Do gyms offer a 7 day pass for non residents? Should I tell them I just plan on using their facility while I'm vacationing?

Is it possible to ask your hosts if they know of anything suitable?

Mostly likely if a 7 day pass is only for those intending to try out the facility in order to join, they will require a local ID.

You can usually purchase a guest pass. I think it's sort of dishonest to get a "try us out" pass. My husband and I have gotten drop in type passes in the past when visiting family and no other gym access. It's not usually too expensive.

One of the gyms that offers a 7 day pass also offers a 30 day trial membership for $8.95 and I would be willing to pay for the access. I don't want to be dishonest but I also can't see spending $35 I'd rather use my SPF 100 and go for a run.

    ^^ This.

My husband and I tried to do that when we were in Vegas and they wouldn't sign us up for anything because we had an out of state ID.

Maybe see if you can find a gym that actually offers day passes or weekly passes.

My gym has a "drop in" fee of $5 per day, just a thought
