I just started running around my neighborhood every morning because i know you have to have speed to run a spartan race. I'm looking to run one next year i'm in shape and workout four to six days per week.
But have had a bad leg for six years now due to a broken tibia and femur in my right leg that stills gives me trouble to this day.
What is your advice for someone like me who wants to do a spartan race or some race like it but has a bad leg where it's hard to jump and move fast sometimes?
Sorry for the poor grammar I have a disability.

It depends where they are held, but it's mostly trail running. Even the sprint distance is still a 4-6km run. You can walk it but you will get over-run by the next wave of people. If running is trouble then some of those cross-fit contests are way less run focused. But if you can run 5-10k at a time, no problem.0
