Does anyone use it? Tried it? Does it work? I am allergic to Whey and that seems to be the only thing I can find in stores. I have heard there is a Pea or Vegetable protein out there. Just curious about others experience and suggestions with that.

Veggie Elite, Vega One. Both are good and complete proteins.0

Thank you. I just found it on Amazon. How's the taste?0

I like them. Veggie elite does not desolve as easily, but price is usually better.0

The ingredients are very good in these with no additives. I have heard sun warrior is good but have not tried it.0

I was just looking at amazon too, bodybuilding.com has much better prices. It will say 2 to 5 days shipping, but I always end up getting next day. Ships from vegas.0

Thanks. I'll have to check that out. I'm just starting out and noticing that I don't get enough protein. I'll try the veggie elite for right now and see how that goes.0

Veggie elite uses a combo pea and brown rice protein I believe to make a complete protein.0

Here's a review from an MFP member on Orgain Organic Protein Plant Based Powder. Something like this should work well for you: realbodiesrealresults.com/blog/orgain-organic-protein-plant-based-powder0

i am using nutrabiotic brown rice protein right now, I got it off amazon for a great price. Its unsweetened, but I like it. Its not a totally smooth powder though, it is slightly gritty at the bottom of the cup. Still, I really like it, and its my go to now.
edited to add- it is free of the major allergens, and vegan.0 -
Here in Australia, we have Vital (brand) Pea Protein Chocolate. I mix it in the super-blender with water (or skim milk, 50 to 150 grams of berries and a couple of ice cubes.
No lumps, no graininess. Quite smooth. The berries (of your choice) mask the golden peas upon which the highly nutritious, protein-rich powder is based.
I'll post a URL in a few minutes.0 -

My wife has chrons and that make here sensitive to whey.
She uses these two from Costco. Both work very well for her and are far more economical than most other vegetable based protein powders.
