Sodium

There is a lot of controversy around sodium. Since I started tracking, I have found it has been pretty much impossible to stay under my sodium limit.
As a bachelor, I eat supper at work a lot, but even without that, simple sandwiches, or pastas for lunch a home can really crank up the sodium.
Is anyone up on the latest research regarding sodium? Isthe current 2300 rda backed by recent science?

Of you have high blood pressure 1500mg max of your blood pressure is good 2300 recommended but the average person today takes on about 3500. This is due to all the processed foods and fast food joints. I have met people not many who are told that they have low blood pressure and need more salt.
