how clothes fit vs. scale

For the past three weeks my husband and I have been really working hard on our diet and exercise. While he just focuses on diet, I do both. (kinda funny I know) At first I saw weight come off pretty quickly just by watching my food and doing zumba. I bought a groupon for a bootcamp session for 5 weeks. I love it! My clothes, after a week, fit so much better, but I'm not seeing the scale move.

Should I worry? My husband says he sees a difference.

There are lots of ways to measure progress.
    The scale is only one.
Endurance, speed, weight lifted, reps done, clothing fit, all are important.

Taking measurements of your body and realizing the fit of your old clothes is the best way to notice changes.

I've only lost a little under 2 lbs in the last 2 weeks, but my pants have become so loose, not even my belt can hold them up anymore! So no, you should not worry. As long as you are losing inches, the number on the scale shouldn't matter. (:
  • I think I am losing weight on the scale but not on my belt uh huh!!!Feeling frustrated in general about dieting.
