I just wanted to pop on and Introduce myself. I started a blog here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/taoistpunk

I was wondering if the short folks (I am 5'5) find that any particular diet strategy or workout regimen has been more (or less) effective. Having a smaller frame with all this weight (240#) I was wondering if there is something I should be doing different than say....a 6' fellow at the same weight?

I'm 5'1 and 170 lbs. and 44 my advice is to pray, watch your calorie intake, drink lots of water, exercise that's fun, eat unhealthy snacks in modification, stay off the scales go by your clothes and how you feel inside because this is truly an inside outside job last but not least be patient give yourself equally the time to get the weight off as it did to put it on.

I read your blog, so I won't recommend and specific diet tips other than to suggest looking at Intermittent Fasting:

I too use to eat 5 or 6 meals a day and tried not te eat after 7pm. Now I skip beakfast, eat lunch a little later and don't worry about having a snack (or drinks) later into the evening.
