Too much too fast?

Am kind of a yo yo dieter, lately my weight has been hovering around 90kg. I tend to pig out for a few days, putting on 2kg some weeks but losing much more the week after when I start eating right again and exercising more.

This week I came close to losing 4kg in 7 days, was at 3.5 but treated myself to a cheat day last night. Is this amount of weight loss in such a short time bad for me in any long lasting way? I find I lose more when I did indulge in bad food now and then rather then if I just eat clean. Are there any health concerns I should be worried about losing so much this fast? I mean I have endless energy still, mild appetite increase but still manageable.

If this is your first week back on after a while, it's common to lose a ton of water weight at first. If it doesn't slow down to a healthy pace, then you should be concerned. Make sure you eat to your goal or close to it, log accurately and honestly, and enjoy those "bad" foods when you want them!

Thank you for your reply. Have been eating pretty bad since Easter on and off, am 11kg up on last Christmas even, only plus has been the extra fitness gains.
It is all so confusing sometimes, I can always lose more then I gain in any one week if I work hard, but still feel guilty about eating as much as I do at my worst. I know a cheat meal once a week worked well for in the past but lately have not had the same motivation and turned it into a series of cheat days.
Just making sure there are not serious health concerns from doing this, my blood tests are all pristine, blood pressure perfect, heart rate super low.
