For the first time since proably 2008 or so, I weighed myself today and was below 180. When I weighed myself about a year ago and tipped the scales at 194, I knew it was time to do something about it. I decided to start exercising again and really watching what I eat for the first time in my life. I've been losing and gaining in fits and starts since then, but the overall trend has been down.

My goal is to keep going until I get rid of the rest of this spare tire sitting around my waist. That's at least another ten pounds away, but I have no doubt I'll get there. The MFP community has been instrumental in helping me learn how to eat properly and craft a lifestyle I can sustain for good. Thank you all!
