Greetings!
Im fairly new to the healthy eating concept but believe me, I'm trying..! I'm not always 100% on point but I've been taking protein source; usually chicken breast, sometimes egg whites using olive oil. I have it with veggies, mushrooms, fruits, LOTS of fruits...I'm allergic to nuts so unfortunately can't add that. I'm also taking multi vitamins and of course..a cheat day! Some small snacks in between (may or may not be healthy $:) and whey protein post workout too
I do add some herbs and spices and some soy sauce...Hard not to
Any other ways you did your diet that worked out for you? I meal prep but I don't separate it into each meal..I just want them bulked and ready just in case, because sometimes I want to eat a lot, other times not so much and putting them in box full meal can get annoying for me personally...
Im not really into losing weight, just want to tone up and be stronger..just fit over all! I've only been doing this for a few weeks and I'm hoping that typing it out will keep me motivated and continue. As well as get other people's ideas that I could possibly incorporate into my diet. I'm not very experienced but reading everyone's post really helped me get into this!

Logging your food definitely does help, it helped me to begin for sure. But what really fueled me to change was getting in shape. What you need to remember after a workout is that none of that hard work you did in the gym matters if you aren't getting the proper nutrients your body needs so you have to think about the time wasted in the gym if your going to throw it away by not properly feeding your body. Don't worry so much about if something is "healthy" I eat whatever the hell I want, just don't go overboard with it and account for it in your diary. You should be weighing your food if you aren't doing that already, helps a lot.0
