I'm fairly new to the fitness world and I keep seeing HIIT. What is it? Thanks!

High intensity interval training.
Very simply you do an exercise at high intensity for a short burst, then at a lower intensity. For example - sprint for 30 seconds, jog for 1 minute. Repeat 10 times.0 -
To add to above post: DON'T attempt to do HIIT unless you've been acclimated to exercise again (say at least a couple of weeks of consistent exercise minimum). To start/restart exercise with HIIT can lead to some injury and or tax your immune system too much.
