Hey folks,
I'm interested in your stories about your low body-fat percentages - how you personally achieved and maintain a low body-fat, muscular physique.
I'm only interested in the experience of natural athletes - that is, those who don't rely on steroids etc.
Any information in relation to your diet and exercise welcome!

Check out Mike Matthews, author of Bigger, Leaner, Stronger. He has some video podcasts on YouTube and is an awesome source for stuff like that. He maintains around 7%, and talks about how he does that in several videos and his books. He really gets into that in the book "beyond bigger leaner stronger" so if you already have some muscle and just want to get down to under 10% (men), then check that one out for sure.
FYI, he's not the typical YouTube guy that doesn't know what he's talking about and just wants your money.0 -
Honestly, the only times I was 7%-15% body fat was when I was competing. Currently, I'm just under 20% and have done that for 20+ years by just staying within a reasonable calorie range. You basically just get to your desired body fat goal, and then eat maintenance. Could I do single digit BF% again? Sure, but I'd have to make sure my heart was in it.
