I drive my coworkers crazy with my use of acronyms. I blame my time in the military. Prior to google, I would try to figure them out by context plus sounding them out. I was able to figure out CICO (“calories in, calories out”) this way, which was good, as I just googled it and google isn't much help.

TDEE is another one I see here a lot - Total Daily Energy Expenditure.

I have a knee problem. I had a torn ACL and when that was finally healed, I began to get a cyst on my side ligament (forgot the name). This cyst pushes on my nerves (quite literally) and if I catch it, it can feel like someone is trying to lift my knee cap off. Oh and arthritis in the same knee. The pain is awful. I'm currently waiting to see my specialist to get the cyst removed.
Anyways to the point. I can't do many 'on floor' activities due to the risk of catching the cyst, go past a certain angle and my week is over. So I do aqua fit. It is awesome. If you can find a motivational aqua fit instructor you have got everything you need. No pressure on joints but great exercises to tone. In 4 months I've lost 21lbs and 13.75" off my body simply aqua fit and MFP. I'm now addicted to it. I've caught my knee a few times, but because my weight wasn't on the joint at the time, the pain was significantly less and recovery was a day or so not over a week like usual.
My advice. Pool. Swim, walk, jog, hang onto the side and do yoga poses. :)
    Welcome to MFP!

Thanks. I will definitely try to check if there is something similar to this where I live. I am in Saudi Arabia and pools are not really an available thing here.
