Hello everyone my name is Crystal and I'm 35 years old and I live in Ohio. I have been doing my fitness pal for a little over a year now. I was down 40lbs but in the last couple of months I have put on close to 20lbs. I'm here to try to get motivated again. I have to lose 60lbs to be where I want to be. Wish me luck...

Crystal - it is totally doable! You need to keep logging in every day - even on the days you go over - set small goals for yourself with rewards along the way. I have been doing MFP for a little over a year now and it is working wonderfully for me. Just keep logging - and remember, just because you take a step back one day - doesn't mean you have to continue that backwards stepping! I also think you need to allow yourself a few treats along the way - just be sensible about it and practice portion control.
I also think it helps to plan ahead. Planning on going out to dinner with friends? Look for a nutritional menu before you go and select what you'd like to have - then plan the rest of your calories for the day around that.
Hang in there!! You can add me as well if you need some support! It's always good to have someone to be accountable to - someone who will also give you pats on the back for a job well done!!!1 -

I grew up in Michigan but moved to Ohio about 3 years ago. I have a friend back home who had lost 125lbs in about 16 months on MFP. I do know it's doable but it's sometimes really hard.0

The break it down into its component parts and focus on 1 day and 1lb at a time. Success breeds succcess, so just do small achievable targets and get some momentum going. You will have progress, but you need to commit and stay on top.0
