Hi I'm Liz, I need some friends for support.

Hi my name is Liz, think I've been on a diet most of my life- up and down the scales I go like I'm on mad roller coaster. I am the heaviest that I have been and it's getting harder and harder to lose the weight as I get older, let alone maintain it. One week in 2lbs down. Long way to go!

    Liz,

I am in the same boat. Countless diets, I've tried them all. This time, I'm trying a different approach. I'm going to use MFP to track calories, and try to incorporate healthier foods into those calories. No more cutting out entire food groups, calculating points, etc. As far as exercise, I would always get a gym membership and then quit going after a few weeks. I'm just going to try and be more active, as in swimming, taking a walk around the block, etc. I'm also not going to try and attempt some crazy gym schedule. I need to find a balanced way to lose weight and feel good, but not drive myself crazy with it. Message any time, and good luck to you!

I find it harder to lose weight as I get older too. I have found that by making exercise fun you will want to do it more often. I am looking to join a hiking group. That should get me started. Good luck.
