New to myfitnesspal

I'm new to myfitnesspal.com and so far I love it. My sister and I recently found out we could be candidates for diabetes if we don't change our eating pattern. We found this great website and have started a weight loss plan last week. So far I have lost 6 pounds and she has lost 4. We feel so much better and have a little more energy than before. Any support from people would be helpful. If anyone has any tips I will gladly accept them.
