If my daily calorie goal is 1300 and burned 500 calories through cardio...is it a good idea to eat back those calories? HELP! :)

Is 1300 what MFP gave you?
Then yes, it's a good idea to eat at least some of them back. How much depends on what exactly you are doing and how you are estimating your calories burned.

You need to eat back at least some - 50%-75%. Your body burns calories just by existing.

Your calorie goal on MFP assumes you aren't doing exercise other than your day-to-day activities so when you do dedicated exercise, you should eat some of the calories.
