I've found I'm nearly double my recommended alottment of sodium everyday?! Any foods I should definitely avoid to reduce this?

Hi Naomi, a quick look at your diary suggests you are eating out a lot/eating a lot of pre-packaged foods? There is nothing inherently wrong with that, but those things do tend to be higher in sodium. Cooking at home, making lunches to take to work/school etc will make it easier to cut down, but may not suit your lifestyle, so perhaps see if you can find alternatives at those places that are lower in sodium?

If you eat a lot of processed foods and it is hard for you to avoid them, drink more water during the day. This will help flush out some of the excess sodium that you're taking in.

Thanks y'all! I try to drink a lot of water during the day, but I don't log it in my diary. Does it affect the nutrient requirements?

Try to eat less processed foods, they are always higher in sodium. Prepackaged, canned, fast food, etc. Eat more natural foods, and yes drink lots of water. Lots and lots! But, no it doesn't affect your requirements when you log water.

I feel ya, recently started paying attention to my sodium and it's a *kitten* lol

I'd say cooking your own food is the best solution
