I'm just wondering I'm currently trying to gain weight as I am underweight! I usually walk about 10km a day and wanted to know should I eat back the calories I'm burning?

Depends which method you have used to determine your calorie goal. MFP or TDEE?

I have used the mfp one! It says to eat 2000 calories to gain 1/2 a lb and I burn 400 calories through walking so should I eat that 400 back? Also does walking that much burn calories cas I always taught you had to do hard cardio to burn calories

Even if that means eating 2500 calories a day? Is that too much to be eating?

400 calories walking 10k doesn't seem too much if you are walking fairly quickly.

Yes, you should be eating them back.

you're recovering from an eating disorder, 2500 isn't too much

Of course walking burns calories. Calories are a unit of energy and you need energy to move mass (you).

I doesn't sound like you're recovering from your eating disorder. Why are you walking 10km a day if you're trying to gain weight? Everything you post seems to imply that you are far from recovery. Get off MFP and get to a clinic.

    you need to net 2400 …so 2400 - 400 burned = 2000 ..

as long as you eat in a surplus of calorie you will gain. so make sure that you net the 2000 calorie number that MFP is giving you.
