I know I can't spot reduce.

If you're breastfeeding, you should be careful not to go too low on calories, since that will affect your milk production.

^^^This, especially when I think you're cutting at least TDEE -25% with very little to lose (it should be more like TDEE -10% or 5%).
So I wouldn't say you should keep "doing what you're doing".0
