Help

I am 49 yrs old and I need to lose 75-100 lbs I know it will be hard. I have joined a gym and am trying to eat healthy. It seems my whole life I've been on a diet of some sorts (bad eating habits learned as a child). But for once in my later life I wanna feel my hip bone or the air between my thighs and not feel out of breath. I need surgery for another health issue (severe hernia) and the only way they will do it is if I lose 50lbs, easier said than done right? But I'm hoping with support and sheer pain and WILL I can do this. Please feel free to friend me if you know how I feel.
