My Recipes - Help Please!

Options
Hi all,

New to MFP. Bought the Premium subscription because my macro and calorie requirements change on a daily basis and premium caters for this.

Anyway, with 'My Recipes' I entered the following for Sweet Mashed Potato (in the slow cooker):

1589g / Sweet Potato
430ml / Apple Juice
45g / Cinnamon
25g / All Spice

How do I work out servings? Let's say I want to eat 100 grams - how do I calculate this on the listed 'per serving' basis?

Would it work if:

I measured the weight of the sweet potato once it has finished cooking. Lets say it weighs 1600 grams in the end.
Re-entered the above details into 'My Recipes' but instead of having 1 serving type in '1600' servings. Then, when I weighed the sweet potato for consumption later on (let's say 120g), I type in 120 servings. Would this work??

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

If it was 1600 grams and you wanted 1 serving to be 100 grams then it will give you 16 servings. 1600 /100 = 16
If for arguments sake the whole 1600 grams was 2000 calories then each 100g serve would be 125 calories. 125 cals x 16 serve = 2000 cals

    Hope that helps
