Lost 119 lbs down to a healthy weight, met my soul mate, got engaged, happy, and gained 31 lbs Right now I'm sick and I'm going on a trip in a week on a boat where I'll be watching portions and swimming but can't really do much else for those two weeks so I'll get started back up June 15th for a December 19th 2015 wedding.
Looking for stories where people gained back a significant amount and lost it again
I know why I gained it. Met each other Sept 2014, started dating October, had wedding date November, got engaged December, moved in January, and every day since has been the best day of my life. We eat different, he's not into working out, I went from being into working out to being into him Now I'm ready to merge my way of eating with his (and we're going to start cooking healthy meals together) and spending more time away from him at the gym.

Wow at losing 127 lbs! Congrats for that! I've also put weight on since being in a relationship so know the feeling all too well. Doesn't help that partner doesn't have an ounce of fat, isn't a "foodie" so eats what they want and doesn't need to bother/worry about gaining weight.
Re. gaining and losing, I've probably lost and regained the same three stone about four times (such a yo-yo-er!) but this is my first time on MFP so hoping it will be different this time and I will just maintain at goal and still fit treats into my allowance.
Be positive that you've just put 31 lbs on but kept 96 lbs off - that's still c. 75% of your weight that you've kept off. Good luck!

I weighed 270 in the mid-nineties and lost sixty pounds in 1997. In 2001, I reached a weight of 190, which was less than I needed to be. Around 2007, my job changed and I began gaining weight. I knew I needed to do something about it, but I kept putting it off. I never stepped on the bathroom scales because I didn't want to know how fat I was. In 2013, I lost about 20 pounds to get me to 250, by just riding my bicycle. I took the winter off, ate too much at Christmas, and regained it. I thought I would repeat that in the summer of 2014, but when I finally stepped on the scale in October, 268 was the number. I started using MFP as a means of figuring out how many calories I was eating every day. I never figured that out, because as soon as I started logging, I started losing weight. I am now down 52 pounds and within 8 pounds of my goal of 208.

I'm working on losing the 20 pounds I regained. Two days of meticulous logging so far. I feel good, like I have to and can do this. Going to the gym now!0
