How to log edamame?

I did a search but could not find the answer I was looking for. I don't know if that means this is a daft question!

I just bought a bag of frozen edamame for the first time (I believe it's a new product at my grocery store here in Australia). When it says a serve is 75 grams, is that before or after I take them out of the shells? I assume after, but I was planning on taking them to work frozen and then shelling them there for convenience. Should I just shell them at home so I can weigh the beans on their own?

Also would appreciate any tips or recipes for edamame :)

The serving size refers to edible portions on all packages (unless they specifically indicate otherwise), so it would be 75g after shelling. If you're taking them to work in the shells, you could always weigh out your portion at home (in shells), save the pods after you eat at work, and weigh them at home to find the difference. Original weight - pod weight = serving eaten.
