I've been doing whole 30 AND tracking my food, I have not lost anything for almost three weeks. I've been training for a triathlon so Im exercising intensely 4-5 days a week. I have however, been buying cheaper cuts of meat at the farmers market to off set cost which are higher in fat so I'm not sure if that could be it. Did anyone else stall on whole 30 or paleo? I expected if I committed to it this would be more effective. Would it be better to eat only lean cuts of meat while doing whole 30 or just in general to help my plateau or are there any other suggestions?

When you say tracking your food, do you mean you are weighing/measuring your portions? You could be eating more than you realize. I doubt a cheaper cut of meat is stalling your weight loss. I suggest reading the first post in this thread, its very informative and may be able to help you on your journey:

Not sure what you mean by tracking your food. Are you counting calories? You can eat whole foods or paleo or whatever all you want, but if you're not eating fewer calories than you burn, you aren't going to lose weight.0

I use a food scale and measuring cups for everything I eat besides eating out when I can't. I don't eat out too often anymore though maybe 2-3 times a week. They used to be my best weight loss weapons but its just not working this time.0

I count WW points for right now but I'll double log on myfitnesspal some days to make sure I'm not eating too much calories from fruit also.0

If these cheaper cuts are higher in fat and you are eating them in the same amount as the ones before, then it may lead to a slight increase in calories, since a gram of fat has more calories than a gram of protein/carbohydrate. However, even if this is the case, I doubt it would stall your weight loss unless you are in a very slight deficit.
You mentioned intense exercise. Did your weight loss stall around the same time you started your routine? If so, it might be water retention.0 -

Don't most fruits count as 0 points? (It's been many many years since I looked into WW, so maybe it's changed).
If so, that's a good place to start looking, as a few pieces of fruit a day can easily be 300-400 (or more) unaccounted for calories.0 -
Definitely, I may start doing calories again only just in case it's the fruit.
I did start working out a lot harder in the last 5 weeks and thats when I stalled. Can you hold water weight in sore muscles for weeks? That might be a big part of it. I'm still getting in shape so I'm sore most days haha.0 -

You can. I recently held water weight for 3 weeks when I started a new routine, and it's only recently started dropping, now that the soreness is almost gone.0 -
Okay thanks, that's really helpful. I suspected that may be it. I'll keep trudging forward and hopefully I see a loss in the next few weeks.0
