Shallow water blackout

This is a deadly blackout and I wanted to talk to you about it. I knew a man, an athlete who passed away on August 1st, 2014 and here's why.

    Wow- that is so sad :'(

    Great reminder to respect the water and never swim alone.

    Wow I had never heard of that before. When I was a kid I used to swim lengths of the pool underwater while holding my breath and never knew the risks. Here in the UK they've started putting underwater cameras with alarms in pools which has already saved lives.
