I'd love any advice. I'm not looking to go overboard. Just enough to have some definition.

you can't go overboard that easily, trust me.. it's a gradual process, it's not like it happens over nite and you're like: *kitten* now I'm too muscular/ lol

In terms of advices for getting more definition... you pretty much need just to lower you bodyfat % by gradually lowering your calorie intake(cut up on your carbs), eating more protein(to keep the muscles at the same size) and then get some cardio in the process. That's the big picture. I'll make a thread on that in the near future to explain more so please follow me closely ;)

That's what I've read so far. Protein and lose weight. But, what about building a little muscle? I basically do 2-3 exercises per muscle group per day. I have noticed some tightening. But, is what I'm doing enough? I also hear I should mix it up. If so, how often?

I've been lifting weights for a few years now but just got a good routine from a personal trainer about 8 months ago. I used to feel really sore the next day and now not so much. I'm increasing my weights and stuff but I think I need to do different exercises. Any tips on that? Like if there is value in switching exercises, how often to switch, etc. because I miss that achey feeling haha
    Thanks!
