A tale of two....blood glucose tests

i had a huge salad for lunch and an ounce of baked lentil chips. Pretty low sugar and carb meal. My partner ate two huge bowls of vanilla custard ice cream topped with chocolate fudge, berries and bananas. A gastronomic blood sugar disaster. I have a glucometer, even though neither of us is diabetic. I did a two hour postprandial....his was 179 and mine was 79. Food makes a difference folks! Oh, his last fasting glucose was 112 at the MD and the same doctor got a 83 on me at my exam. As I write this, he is napping and snoring ....totally ice cream zonked. Buy a glucometer. Got mine for $13 from Amazon.com, turned in a rebate and was refunded$11!
